Interim Management of “Areopag-Bishkek” company

Project description:

Development of unified strategy for the holding, identification of strategic priorities and increasing controllability of branch company.

 

Vision, mission, and corporate culture of Areopag group of companies were formed. Priority goals and achievement strategy were elaborated; control, monitoring and management systems were formulated.

 

Project outcomes:

  • Profitability of Areopag company increased 5 fold
  • ROA, ROE, EBITDA indicators and gross revenue increased significantly
  • Psychological environment in branch companies improved, new team of Areopag top managers started to form.

Description of actual services provided by consultants:

  • Comprehensive analysis of main processes in all seven companies: marketing, financial management, human resource management, business processes, legal framework, movement of goods.
  • New vision was formulated, mission was revised, and strategic goals were formulated for the whole group and for every branch company.
  • Management report formats were developed, financial and managerial accounting policies developed, marketing and HR policies and procedures were elaborated, and express-information system was built.
  • Enterprise transformation: some product areas were removed, some directions were united or redistributed between companies, existing personnel was regrouped and designated to necessary posts
  • Professional staff for all departments was chosen.
  • All policy documents were elaborated and formalized.
  • Financial forecasts up to 2007 were defined and operational plans for 2005 were developed for all branch companies.
